Each motor show tries to outdo the last with the quantity and quality of sexy models who dress up the automobiles, performance accessories, auto products, engine additives, wheels, tires, auto sound systems, car wax paint products and all the other vehicle products and accessories. And they try to be as provactive as possible with the shows and outfits to attract visitors to their booths. But they often bump up against the limits of what is accepted in Thailand.

Strapless tops or spaghetti strap tops are a little "over the top" in conservative Thai culture and there has been some taming down of the event with less skin on show. On the other hand, Thai ideas of modesty allow for amazingly short skirts, and with most Thai ladies being so trim there are plenty of nice looking legs on display. The combination of short skirts and thigh high boots seems to be particularly appealing.

Some of the major vehicle manufacturers put on big shows and have large numbers of the best looking models. In the motorcycle area Honda was a real star with lots of cute girls in sexy but tasteful clingy skirts. They did a good job draping themselves over the bikes so all the hungry photographers would be sure to get the Honda name into many of their photos.

As commented by one of our visitors who had spent a couple of weeks in Thailand visiting the likes of Soi Cowboy and Patpong, the quality of the ladies at those venues pales in comparison to the ladies of the car shows. And these are mostly just regular girls, college girls, amateurs who are recruited to work the auto salons and represent automobile products and accessories.
