The 2005 motor show at BITEC was bigger than ever this year. Some vehicle manufacturers went all out to attract and impress the public. Honda motorcycles even staged a free outdoor concert on the exhibition grounds. And the car show models were out in full force and looking great as ever. As usual there were motorcycles, lots of auto accessories and performance products (lubricants, glass, bumpers, polish and wax, window film, clutches, brake pads exhaust systems, tires) and of course cars, trucks and SUVs. The majors are all here. Small trucks from Isuzu, Toyota, Nissan, Mistubishi, Ford, Chevy. Luxury cars from Mercedes, BMW, Lexus. Super sport cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini. Ford Models



Ford had an impressive lineup this year. We hardly remember what Ford had on offer in prior years but the quality was definitely there at this auto show. These beautiful car show models gave us a good look at the lines on these fine machines, and there were also some trucks and passenger cars, although plush interiors on the vehicles wasn't our first choice of photo ops. Back in the old days in the west Ford half-ton pickups were the only thing we would see. Now the mini trucks rule, although Ford trucks have a lot of competition from Nissan, Toyota, Isuzu and even Chevy trucks.

Just what were these hot import models representing? It's easy to get distracted and not take notice of the auto accessories, engine oil, performance product or gas treatment that is on offer.
