Not long ago there were just a few cases of H1N1 flu in Thailand, less than a dozen. They were people who had returned from U.S. or Mexico. But it’s here in a big way now. On the news tonight they said a school in Bangkok has been closed because one student has confirmed H1N1 and another dozen have symptoms, and none of them have traveled anywhere recently. Then the mayor of Pattaya was interviewed live and said there appears to be a big outbreak there. I didn’t hear the numbers. It makes sense that there might be a lot of cases there with so many foreign tourists.
So I am locking the big gate and nobody is going in or out for a while. Hopefully my internet connection and computer stay up so I can just keep blogging. Back to posting hotties shortly.

It’s getting so that everytime someone coughs, I’m looking over my shoulder… time to find a small Wat way out in the boonies… :-), although the one I stay at is pretty far out there…

Yeah, I’m nervous too when someone coughs or sneezes.
Something that is bothering me is how they are using a fake name for the flu because they don’t want to call it swine flu and upset pig farmers. But I read more about it and using H1N1 or A/H1N1 isn’t accurate because that is the same label used for the regular seasonal flu. It’s not, it is a new variety of H1N1. It was correctly called khai wat moo (swine flu) in Thailand at first but they changed it to khai wat yai sai pan mai 2009 (new flu strain 2009) which is ridiculous.
