That image, it seems to me, is pretty clearly a staged shot. But could such apparel be worn in public in Thailand, even at the most up-scale or liberal malls? I think in the most liberal parts of the US, MAYBE it’d pass at nightclubs, but not likely anywhere else. Although it’s fun to fantasize…

That’s not one of those fake “exposure” dresses (i don’t know what they’re actually called) that I’ve seen talked about on other blogs, is it? I once saw an article based in Japan showing something similar which seemed to look as if it was transparent but the naked female portion of the body was actually woven into the fabric.
