Actually, I don’t know if this particular story is true. It looks more like what they call a “wind up”. But it is just like dozens of true stories that I personally know about from translating letters. The link to this video was sent to me by someone who says it is circulating like crazy on forums that a lot of farang read. I wonder if it won’t stay up long so you better take a look right away.
It is sad and pathetic that this sort of story has actually happened many times. There are a couple of famous stories where the farang got revenge in a lot stronger way. The man came back to Thailand to find that his wife was away with her Thai husband. So he hired a back hoe and had the house he paid for demolished. I have never seen any video of that. The better video would be of the wife when she returned to find the house destroyed.

That is pathetic. “Help me find a video of her … so that she will come back…” Why would he want her back, especially under such circumstances? Can he really think that’s love?

If he really loved her that much, why did he destroy the house? He could rent it to other people and get back all the money he spent to build/repair/decorate the house from the rent he would get. I say that defines revenge in much stronger yet safer way. And some people could use a nice home like that. A pity. X(

As a westerner I have no sympathy for this idiot. He meets a bar girl and thinks it’s love, even though he is nearing retirement age and she is just beginning her life.
Five minutes research would have told him that marrying her was a bad idea. He obviously only thought with his c#%k.
And I agree with John, help me find a video so I can shame her into being with me again. What a loser, if this is real, then he needs help.
This is very common though and it is unfortunately why Thailand has such a bad reputation and why marrying Thai girls brings with it a bad stigma.

PS, that story about destroying a house is a different story than this one with the video. He wouldn’t be able to do what you said anyway because the farang doesn’t own the house.

Very funny, and obviously a wind up but well thought out though. If you build the foundations of your relationship on sand, water will wash the foundations away. It takes a while to learn that – but god knows you should increase your chances by choosing someone who is from an appropriate background !

Hmm….
I understand that alot of such things happen when farang hook up with bargirl from thailand. But, i think such things has been overly blown up.
When you hook up with a bargirl, be it from any other asean countries, european countries, USA or any other countries. You might still get scammed too, but hey do they get exposed to the media? So, I think it is unfair to just only blame thailand and put many other good thai girls to shame.
Another fact is that, this farang has only himself to blame for such thing to happen. Many farang behaved as if they are damn rich when in thailand, act arrogantly in thailand, as if they are the VIPs there. So, i guess this is the lesson he should get. This is what I have seen during my trip in thailand. But i have also seen quite a few humble farangs in thailand,nice chaps. But these ppl are rare.
And seriously, by exposing photos of such into youtube, i really dun think he stands a chance in getting Noi back. Even if Noi goes back to him, issit because of true love, or more like because of money issues. What this farang wants seem to be only sex, and the feeling of winning over the girl, that he can claim possession of Noi.
