I guess they have to prepare the magazine covers well ahead of time. And usually the seasons are pretty predictable in Thailand. Problem is this year it’s not a heat wave, it’s a cold snap.
So Lips magazine has their heat wave issue while the whole country is shivering. It’s been about 15 degrees every morning this week at my house.
BTW, that is the lovely Yaya Urassaya on the cover. She is a luuk khrueng (Thai-Norwegian) actress and model. Here is another pic of her.

You’re not alone; it’s not warming up much in the U.S. either this spring… in the 20’s this morning and all week where I am. Not good!!

But you guys are used to chilly springs. We are in what is supposed to be hot season and people are getting sick from exposure to cold.

Only 15! That must be frigid for you! Poor Ms. AS. As you said, we’re used to it, but in Thailand…
Like rain in Los Angeles.
BTW, that “LIPS” is one of the most nicely produced covers you’ve posted lately. Not overly Photoshopped, nice styling, good photography – and a very lovely model. Frankly, I am amazed, given the name of the magazine, which seems to me rather tacky.
Speaking of tacky, if you need help staying warm, I’m certain you can find numerous willing volunteers…
