I am liking the titles of some of the newer magazines in Thailand. Ones like Touch and Hug – so much promise. However…
They don’t really deliver, not like the B-grade magazines that all seem to be featuring girls hugging, often topless.

The “Touch” cover has interesting styling, but somehow just doesn’t work for me.

Interesting to see that shot of Catareeya: she’s always maintained a squeaky clean image (even by the standards of Thais stars of the time)and — though she did sort of make her nice flat stomach and small waist her trademark few years ago when midrifff-baring tops came in fashion — all her roles and general pesonae were that of a very innocent (and silly) girl.
I’ve never sen her show any cleavage at all or be overtly sexy. And I’ve been looking!

Nope, me neither. Not even close.
Aside from the pleasure I derive from it as – like yourself — an appreciator feminine beauty, it’s also interesting from a socio-cultural perspective to see the changes in Thailand over the last couple decades regarding what’s accepted in the mainstream. (Girl-watching at the shopping mall is a very different expereince than it was 25 years ago)…
And what the “Nang Ek” does or doesn’t do has always been a pretty good barometer of that, given that they were always supposed to be the epitome of the virtuous Thai girl/woman.
But Nong Cat was one whom I sort of expected to get sexy quite a while back…aside from the societal trends — maybe she’s finally mature enough to be OK with being full on sexy…
Anyway, I hope to see more of that!
