The lovely actress Janie Thianposuwan is a long time favorite on Thai TV but recently some people are asking what did she do to her face. Looking at that photo I would say it is a very good question.
I had not noticed but I guess she disappeared for a while and then recently made an appearance with some of the other top Thai stars. So it looks like she had some “work” done and I think the results aren’t to my liking. It wasn’t so long ago that she looked like that picture below.

That really is a shame. It is sad that beautiful girls can feel insecure enough about their looks to go through with this sort of extreme procedure.

That is true John. She is in a lakorn on Thai TV right now and I think it was filmed after the new look but it seems like they never shoot her profile, only from the front which still looks good. Maybe they are filming her that way on purpose.

I’m under the impression that cosmetic surgery is relatively common in Asia – especially in the entertainment industry. You’d think that someone whose looks are so important to their commercial success would choose a surgeon VERY carefully.

I think some of them just go too far. Many of the stars now days get chin implants. I think it is not attractive, especially when they go too big and they end up looking like a witch.
