About the mailing list

February 23rd, 2013

If you are a subscriber to my mailing list you know that in the past I would send out “sneak peeks” which were links to photo sets that were too sexy for this blog. I have not done that in a while but I plan to start doing it again. It seems like a lot of the magazines that have sexier photos are going over the top now days and showing more skin than they used to. So there are a lot more photos that are too sexy for my blog that I want to share via those sneak peeks.

If you aren’t a subscriber and want to receive future sneak peeks be sure to sign up via that little yellow form in the right sidebar.

Something I have noticed is that some unsubscribe requests are marked as “ISP requested removal”. Most recently those came from emails on AOL. (more…)

I heard about Bitcoin a while ago and took the time to learn more about it recently. It’s so cool! I got a Bitcion wallet and am ready to receive some Bitcions (and spend some once I have some in my wallet). So send me some Bitcoins!

Here’s my Bitcoin address: 1JwF2bUUm1gjfw9XP2xq2Fi2c6JY8kd61N

Comcast the latest dumb ISP

March 6th, 2012

Every now and then I get an email from a dear reader usually complimenting me on my charm or wit. Sometimes when I reply to thank them for noticing my email gets bounced by their ISP with some message about it looking like spam. I always find that to be very stupid since I am replying to someone and not sending unsolicited email. Seems obvious that the ISP should be able to determine that if someone sends me an email then they are probably expecting a reply and it isn’t spam.

This has happened in the past with AOL, Earthlink and several ISPs that use Message Labs spam detection. And just recently it happened with Comcast. What is really bad is that the person who sent me email thinks I never responded because these stupid ISPs don’t inform them that my reply was blocked. Fortunately, the latest case is a regular reader of my blog so he will see this post. So John, I replied to your email but Comcast blocked it saying that it has the “characteristics of spam.”

Winner of Unno video CD

September 22nd, 2010

UnnoMikkiMalijung3

The Twitter contest to win that free video CD from Unno has ended. The people who tweeted that message I included in the contest announcement post were entered to win. I wrote their names on little slips of paper and randomly drew one. (more…)

Weird and entertaining comment spam

Weird spam

I get lots of comment spam and it’s all captured by Akismet. What a great plugin. I look at spam comments once in a while. Most of it is really stupid junk but some of it is sort of fun. Here are few recent favorites. (more…)

My cheap phone versus a Blackberry

August 6th, 2010

My Phone

That’s a picture of my phone. I have no idea who makes it, just that it is sold by iMobile in Thailand. It is like an old style phone with the number pad. But it also has touch screen that lets you go to all the different menus by swiping your thumb across the screen. (more…)

Twitter Counter removed

August 2nd, 2010

I got tired of seeing the Twitter Counter showing 56 followers when I actually have about 7,000. It’s been like that for a couple of days so I removed it. When I check at their website it shows really dumb stats, like I went from 6,000+ followers one day to less than 100 the next. That was several days ago. Now it just shows 56 followers forever. Dumb. If they ever get it working again I might put it back.

Update: So it seems to be working again, although one of the styles of the buttons doesn’t seem to work, which is weird. I put it back for now.

Not stolen content

May 29th, 2010

In my last post when I said stolen content I did not mean where my posts have been syndicated on readers’ Facebook or Twitter accounts. That is great and I’m sorry to those readers if my last post looked bad on your Facebook and Twitter pages.

I am only talking about a certain bad person who is taking my entire posts and mixing them in with adult content and surrounding them with advertising. Unless the page you are looking at looks like that it is not stolen content.

Back to the regular program shortly!

Stolen content

May 29th, 2010

If you are reading this post on a website that isn’t asiansweetheart.net then it is stolen content.

I don’t mean in a feed reader or on your Yahoo home page or if you have syndicated my posts on your Facebook or Twitter accounts. That is of course fine. I mean at another website that is stealing my posts and republishing them without permission mixed in with adult content. It shouldn’t last for much longer once the complaints get processed.
