Thanks to my dear readers for their kind words about my new blog. From my point of view as the writer I’m still getting used to it. Some things are slower to do like uploading photos, which is the main point of the blog really, so that is a little bit annoying. I am also still getting used to some of the features and plugins. If anybody has suggestions please leave a comment.
Added: Ok, that was weird. I was making some tiny tweaks to the .css file and my blog sudenly went weirdo, layout was all messed up. Looks like the .css file got corrupted, a bunch of garbage characters in it, probably ‘cuz my internet connection is so bad (I’m guessing). That’s a worry that it is so sensitive when you make edits. Now I am trying to recreate everything I did. So I have to keep local backups of any files I want to edit? Not liking that so much.
Updates: I fixed that problem with the comments getting cut off on the right side – another error in the style sheet. I can’t pick on the creator of this theme too much since he gave it away for free but it sure had a lot of errors. Also I made the text darker so it is easier to read on the light background. And I increased the number of Recent Posts and Recent Comments that are shown to 10 each – is that too many?

Now that’s what I call a decent design.
Luckily Google stepped on the breaks!
Looks even more enjoyable your new site.
You put a lot of work in it – and I’m sure you’ll love the flexibility and functionalities of WP.
Way to go –

I like the new layout – clean format, would like to see more recent posts to click on at any one time, if that is possible. Very happy you have a high heeled shoe as the pic for the website homepage mini-icon – why haven’t you shown us your shoes in some feet pics recently. Toenails have to look good to na khrap.

I was thinking about expanding both the Recent Posts and Recent Comments boxes.

Please make the text darker to give the text better contrast. It’s really difficult to read the text, especially if it’s a lot of it. If possible, move the ads beneath the header, some of them are pure porn ads, and I feel it takes over. I love your blog and follow it regularly because of the beautiful women.

I like the new layout, especially when you click on “rest of the story” and there are a lot more photos to look at.

I will look into the text change. There is no porn here. Some of the ads from ebay are a little risque but they certainly are not porn. Hard to have complete control over the content of those since they are served automatically. I’ll think about placement of the ads some more.

First, congrats on getting the new site up and running. If you’re asking for feedback, I’ll tell you that it doesn’t look too good in IE7. The icons are grainy and the comments get cut off on the right margin. I’ll try it in Opera soon and see if that improves things a bit.
It always takes me a while to get used to a new design. I liked the flat layout of the blogger design and don’t find quite as much motivation to click through the headings here based on portions of photographs. But, again, that could just be how it shows in IE7. I’m not trying to discourage you though. I know this site takes a lot of work. These are just a few initial thoughts and my own difficulty adapting.

Thanks for the feedback T_H. I noticed there is another style sheet labeled “ie.css”. I bet there are some things that need to be fixed in it. That problem with cutting off the text at the right margin was in the other style sheet too so I will have to take a look at that. Not sure what’s happening with grainy icons – they look good in Firefox.

I gotta say I like the new blog. Keep up the great work.

I don’t like the new format. It makes the site look more like a website and less like a blog/diary of impressions (photos).
