I just saw the Maxim Thai edition with Miss Maxim 2009 on the cover. That’s her there. Her name is Maples and she looks great on the cover shot. But take a look at the photos from inside.
This next shot shows off her great figure but, IMO, her face is not very pretty.
Maybe it’s just a bad angle or a bad look they caught on her face. This next one is a little bit better.
Still, Maxim gets lots of really cute girls trying to get into the magazine so can’t they get one who has a great figure and also a really cute face to be Miss Maxim? Here is another shot. A little bit better yet.
So maybe not a “butter face”. Maybe I am being too harsh, but it seems to me she isn’t up to the standard of a Miss Maxim.

I know how easy it is to get lousy shots of even the most beautiful face – but it’s hard to imagine the AD choose these as the best. Kind of suggests that maybe Maxim is weighing some other factor more heavily than a beautiful countenance. Hmmmm…

Some of the shots don’t seem to do her full justice, but she is really pretty, i think.
