You learn funny things on Twitter. Like today I sent a tweet about those topless photos of Panward Hemmanee and noticed in the trending topics that today is Pancake Day. I’m sure Thai model Pancake Khemanit is happy that there is a special day just for her.

So what’s pancake day really about? Is it another one of those holidays they make up to try to sell stuff? Pancakes, those are sort of popular in America I think. What do you do to celebrate pancake day? Maybe look at a couple of photos of Pancake looking her hottest.

Traditionally it comes from the UK and is a way of using up all of the eggs, milk and flour before Lent where Christians fast for 40 days.
Nowadays it’s just a fun tradition to just eat pancakes with the kids.

It’s actually Shrove Tuesday prior to Ash Wednesday which signals the end of Lent (40 days after the New Year) (I Think). If anybody can correct me then go ahead. It’s all to do with the fact that people would fast(because they were running out of food from the winter)and the spring would bring in a new bountiful supply. Usual story!!!

Paul, It signals the start of Lent/fasting, a Christian belief.
