According to a story I read in the Bangkok Post, Panward Hemmanee will appear in what they are calling “Thailand’s first erotic movie”. That is quite a claim, but it might be an interesting movie. In it she has a love scene with another woman.
One doubtful detail of the movie is that the director is Tak Bongkoch, you know, the model/actress who likes to talk about how big her chest is. Does she actually have any directing skill? Or is this just a big girl’s club project. And someone is actually paying to produce it?
Panward was interviewed at the Sexy Leo Girls Season 4 party (season 4 already?, I better get on that) and said this
Tak told me I could choose the woman I have to make love to in the movie, but I have yet to decide.
Well that certainly doesn’t sound like a serious movie, at least not if the casting is being done like that. But lets hope Panward chooses a hottie to do the love scene with. She also had this to say:
It is not a lesbian flick, and nor do we take off our clothes randomly. We strip for a reason.
I think it’s gonna be a good one. A lot of people have wanted to see a lot more of Panward.

I don’t know, the whole project sounds rather dubious to me. I’ve never heard of one actor/actress choosing another for any major movie – although perhaps the “love interest” role is rather minor. Seems like quite a leap from no erotic movies to one involving homosexual activity. Is Thai culture that accepting of gay and lestbian sexuality?

Gay and lesbian are very open and accepted here but we don’t publicly talk about sex much. So it is a little bit daring to do a scene like that. But for sure she will become super popular for it, at least with all the boys (and some of the girls, ya know what I mean).

Erotic films are very difficult to do. Zalman king in the US is one of the producers that has had success win this genre. The Pang bros possibly. There have been some poono made that could be polished, the director for Hitman and the director for 300 but this is such a difficult medium to get right. I hope we in the west get to see this effort as perhaps it wil turn out well

Panward was my favorite Thai actress. Now after waiting for her in another big production since BD with Nick Cage, she goes in this “movie”.
Panward I still like her alot but if she continues to do movies like this she will lose another decent fan.
