Rainy season coming to an end soon so it’s going to be beach time again. Need some inspiration to get out there and show some skin in a skimpy bikini.
Yeah, right. You know we don’t do that in Thailand except in the magazines. We keep the t-shirt on so nobody can see the expensive new bikini we bought. But then some girls go and take the shirt off just to get all the attention. She does have what you would call a bikini body, doesn’t she.
A cover up after the beach is always good. But she seems to be missing something.

VERY nice bikini body!! So what would happen in Thailand if a girl showed up on a beach like that? Would she be arrested??

It’d be nice if in Thailand a girl wouldn’t have to feel like she’s “showing off” just because she chooses to wear only a bikini top at the beach…Can’t a girl just do what she wants? Too bad…

If there were more girls on the beach in Thailand like this, Thailand wouldn’t have an economic problem.. the beaches would be packed..the hotels would be packed, the restaurants would be packed… maybe Thailand should import in some of these girls, do you think?

Do Thai women wearing more modest one- or two-piece swimsuits also wear cover-ups? I mean, is it the exposed skin, or the revealed body shape that is considered rude?
Yes, she does have “what you would call a bikini body.”
You know, Ms. AS, you could save a little money and not bother with the expensive skimpy bikini – just wear the tee-shirt cover-up. It’d be rather like your shopping clothes.

It is both body shape and skin but it is mostly about the upper body. You might have noticed we can wear short skirts but we don’t show cleavage. Even spaghetti straps are kind of daring. Of course this doesn’t apply to celebrities and the magazines. They wear all kinds of very daring things. It’s regular girls who worry about this.
At the pool at a hotel we will wear a bikini but out on the beach where it is more public normally cover up even if the swim suit is not revealing. Depends also on age, younger girls need to be more modest, can be more daring when you get older. I guess it sounds kind of complicated when I explain it but it doesn’t see complicated to us I guess because we just sort of know what feels right.

You’re right. It’s extra work which is why I don’t usually do it, to upload a larger image somewhere and link to it. What I want to do is have larger versions of the images on my gallery pages, just haven’t got around to doing that.
