Of course everyone knows Muay Thai is the famous martial art from Thailand. It is part of my culture that comes from the old times. I don’t like it. It’s violence, something I don’t care for at all and not entertainment to me. But it is getting more and more popular now with the popularty of MMA (mixed martial arts) growing so fast.
The MMA fights seem to be really popular with people in Thailand, although I think it is mostly farang who are downloading those UFC fight videos and having fight parties. I can’t watch it, so brutal. But there is a part of the MMA scene I can get into, the fighter girls. Ok, not the real fighter girls because they are tough and scary. They go into the octagon and beat up each other’s faces. Jeez, a girl normally does everything she can to take care of her looks. Getting it punched and scarred is just so opposite. Maybe if it is just grappling it isn’t so bad, but that heel hook looks like it hurts!
So there is something for me in this fighting sport. They have hotties they call Octagon Girls, right? Every sport must have “pretties” or cheerleaders or hotties to decorate the events. MMA events the same. There are even some fashions for the MMA hotties, like this Octagon Girl t-shirt which is a pretty cool design. I could wear that and go to a fight party and pretend to enjoy it.
In the end, though, the stuff that I really like is the completely staged model shots, like that one above. A cute Asian girl in a bikini wearing boxing gloves. How about the hottie fighter girl below? Her impressive figure would keep everybody entranced.

Agree with you more than 100%+ about the violence, I went to Thailand three times and didn’t make it to any Muay Thai events so, I’m glad you reinforced my thoughts about it therefore, now I feel that I didn’t miss anything.
But, I couldn’t go to a party & pretend to enjoy no matter if they had beautiful girls as distractions…

Muay Thai fights are awesome. MMA guys who trained in Muay Thai always seem to come out on top over other disciplines.

I like Muay Thai but don’t go for anything that looks undisciplined or just a moneyspinner like this. My personal opinion is that in this sort of thing Muay Thai will come out on top because the other disciplines are primarily defensive, Muay Thai is all about attack and disable your opponent as quickly as possible.
Anyway, who really cares when you have the pretties there to look at.
