I saw this little item while doing some research today. I was actually searching for “BlackBerry babes”, hehe. I keep seeing BlackBerry product placements in all my favorite lakorn and thought I would see what’s happening in the BlackBerry world.
It’s an article that’s a few years old already but it’s not the newsy part of it I noticed. It was the booth babe. They really need some help with their booth babe outfits over there.

“They really need some help with their booth babe outfits over there.” Agreed – not very eye-catching.
And the model needs to learn to even out the “racoon eyes” from wearing sunglasses while tanning.

That’s at least the second post about Blackberry. They’ve been around, largely unchanged, for about 10 years, so what’s the big deal?? They’re great for business because they’re primarily an emailing platform. But, other than that, there’s not a lot to recommend them as a “kool” item – especially since the advent of iPhone.

They are the hot gadget in Thailand. All the celebs have them and all the kids must have them now to be cool. It’s the new Blackberry models that are the trend, not the ten year old models.
The iPhone – not so hot in Thailand.

Funny how what’s cool in one country isn’t particularly so in another. I’ve upgraded my Blackberry with each new model since they first came out, because it’s a crucial tool for business. But in the US, the UK and Australia – where I do most of my busienss – the ‘berry is not seen as a cool or a fashion item at all. It’s much-loved by businesmen who primarily need a heavy-duty emailing platform. The changes over the years have been largely cosmetic (and even then, the phone still looks pretty much the same as the original, thank God). It’s not considered particularly cool here because it simply doesn’t have the Internet-based functionality demanded for personal use. The apps, for example, are ok, but very ordinary compared to the gizmos on the iPhone. That’s where the iPhone kills the ‘berry stone dead. The iPhone, on the other hand, is a dreadful machine for business use. I would’ve bet on the Thais prefering the iPhone – all flash and no bang

Thai people like to text. I think that helps make the Blackberry popular. But it is really about the promotions. All the stars are seen with a Blackberry so it’s hot.
There are few Apple “fan boys” in Thailand so just because it’s Apple means nothing. There has to be something else, like inexpensive (not Apple) or choice of the stars (not Apple).

This “booth babe” obviously was not there to be your spank material. She was there to provide marketing support and inform people about the product in a professional manner. The internet is full of naked women; I suggest you look there to satisfy your prurient interests rather than towards convention models trying to make an honest living.
I agree about the reverse raccoon eyes, though.

Someone sure has a rough talk. I don’t do “spank material” on this blog, but maybe that’s what you have in mind whenever you see a beautiful woman. Not for me.

…and misunderstood too.
I didn’t read anything about this “spank material” and I thought it was just about how they should look more catchy rather than so plain and formal, so… X(
Yeah, someone misunderstood the “conversation”.
Too bad… X(
