I saw this series of photos with young Thai models in sexy poses with cans and bottles of Coke and using the Coca-cola logo. This must be an unauthorized ad campaign, or is Coke in Thailand getting racy with their advertising?
That first photo is pretty edgy, a topless girl using a bottle of Coke to cover up.
This hottie crushes a competing brand of soda and saves her can of Coke. Note the little logo with the Thai writing on it that says “Love Coke”.
This girl seems to be feeling rather sultry about her Coke.
What a happy looking lover of Coke.
The “Love Coke” T-shirt, very cute on this cutie.

I would hope that, if it were a real campaign from the Coca Cola company, they would have higher production values. Perhaps they suffer in the reproduction process, but those are not particularly good images for an ad campaign from a major company.

Judging from the pics, I will say the ad is nothing but fake. Just look at those pics. The photoshoot look so amateur, compared to the creative ones made by Coca Cola. Hihi even the logo doesn’t look convincing, at least to me. XD

I know of some low-rent photographers in the US who convince a naive model wannabe that having an image of a fake ad campaign is good for their portfolio, that it somehow makes them look experienced. Of course, this is the equivalent of lying on your resume and never a good idea. Maybe that’s what’s going on here.
Would someone be so kind as to translate the writing on the girl’s tee shirt in the last picture? I’m curious why it has an “18+” on it. Thanks.

It says “We love Coke 18+”. The 18+ is a rating, like for adults only, the same way they rate movies and TV shows in Thailand.

So in Thailand, Coke isn’t sold to teens and children? Or is it simply not recommended to be “used” by people under 18?
Very interesting. I just read something about how effective the soda industry has been at squashing local, state and national efforts to add taxes to soft drinks. Wonder how they’d react to a rating system?

No, nothing like that, it’s sold everywhere to everybody. I think the people doing these photos are having some fun and called it a Love Coke campaign for adults only (because of the sexy models)
