Back at The Old Blog I once posted about this hottie (or is that hotty?) named Emmy. It was a fun story about her role in a movie called “The Gig”. So I have moved that post over here to Asian Sweetheart 2.0. It follows here and then I have some good new stuff about Emmy afterwards.
This is Emmy and she is sort of new to me. I noticed her in a small blurb about her part in a movie called “The Gig 2″. And this isn’t even a new release but I only saw the small article today.
Hmm, so there must have been a “The Gig 1″ and I must have missed that, too. Teenager comedy romance, no wonder I missed it. But Emmy is looking pretty cute so I might decided to do a little research. BTW, if you like long Thai names you will love Emmy’s, it’s Mudhthanita Swedwittayatadakool, at least that’s how it is romanized on some websites.
The movie “The Gig” was probably pretty bad but the interesting thing is that the website for the movie is pretty fun. You might want to check out www.thegig-movie.com. Once the flash finishes loading click on the English link and you get a synopsis of the movie, of course. But they also give a definition and some rules for having a gig. The rules include:
- No jealousy
- No sharing gigs among friends
- A gig is second to your girl/boyfriend
- Don’t fall in love with your gig
That’s the promo poster for “The Gig”. The girl on the left is Ice Aphisatha and she plays gig #1 on the movie. She does a lot of roles like that.
So what’s new with Emmy? Some great photos, that’s what. How about this one:

The next photo might bother you a little. It bothers me. That’s because I don’t understand how Emmy can look so hot in her other photos, including those that were snapped at an entertainment industry event, but look so bad on the cover of Zoo. I mean, Zoo usually has the ladies looking great. Take a look.
On top of the bad photo look at the weird way they romanized her name. Mmie? What is that? Ok, I don’t want to leave you with a bad image in your mind because Emmy really does look great. So here is another much better photo.

I think that Emmy deserves an OSCAR, and I haven’t seen any of the movies. Hotty is probably more correct.

Actually, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen it spelled “hotty” – “hottie” seems more common.
As for the bad cover – looks like she was tired and the make-up artist didn’t do the job. Stylist wasn’t too effective, either.
